Susie Hollands, Founder Bonapart Consulting, Editor in Chief

Scottish expatriate Susie Hollands is Bonapart's founder and director. She is a graduate of Stirling University in Scotland and holds a MA in History. After University she headed to London and worked in London as Marketing Director for the pioneering internet gambling firm, Bluesq.com. During her tenure, the company grew from a burgeoning startup to become the UK leader and was eventually sold to the Rank Group (a leading European gaming business listed on the London Stock Exchange).

A Francophile since an early age and frequent visitor to Paris over the years, like many she dreamt of one day living here. Deciding to take a break from work she arrived in Paris in 2002 to work on various art projects and set up a salon for visiting foreign artists. She originally planned to stay for 2 months...

Upon arriving, Susie realised there was a gap in the market for real estate search companies tailored to meet the needs of dynamic, international professionals needing to find a home to rent or buy, so she launched Bonapart and it was back to work again. She never did get the time off. The salon became the well-known Paris collective for international artists and art lovers called I V Y paris and subsequently, VINGT paris .

Tanya Halton, Search and Sales Bonapart Consulting

Born and bred in Kenya, East Africa, Tanya left at the age of 9 when her father was posted to Paris for a short period before moving to East Sussex, UK.  Having completed her education, Tanya returned immediately to Paris where she worked initially for international companies such as Disney Consumer Products, Herald Tribune and WEA Music. She then orientated her career towards advertising for 12 years with DDB Needham, working on international account coordination, production and finally worldwide internal communication and press relations.

Her present choice of career stems from her own experience as a buyer on the French market and the feeling that she could do the job much better than most real estate agencies! After a 6 month training in real estate, Tanya launched her successful career as a property search consultant.  Since then she has never looked back and enjoys the personal approach involved in handling searches for overseas buyers. Her fluent french and in-depth knowledge of Paris and Parisian culture has enabled her to help our buying clients find their Parisian niche.

Christiana Konstantinou, Interior Design Bonapart Consulting

Christiana was born in Athens, where she worked for a number of years as a fashion and interior design editor for the Greek edition of Elle. A trip to Paris eventually led her to re-locating in 1993. Her resulting career in the fashion business consisted of co-ordinating fashion shoot productions for major players in the industry, mainly the French edition of "Elle", for more than 12 years.

An architect's daughter, Christiana could not stay away from the field for too long. She extended her education, by successfully completing a three year course in interior design in parallel with her career in the fashion business. She is currently investing in property in the Marais, re-designing and renting, on a short term basis, furnished apartments to foreign visitors and expatriates. A recent graduate of the "Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française", Christiana is also the founder of Zoii, a company specialized in custom catering, party organizing and cookery courses.  Even during the month of August, she has delivered projects in time and with great zest and efficiency.

Darianna Cardilli, Client Liaison, California, USA

Darianna Cardilli is an Italian expatriate who spends her time between Los Angeles and Paris. She holds an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University and an M.F.A. from the American Film Institute.

She works as a documentary filmmaker. Prior to that, she was an investment banker for Goldman Sachs in London, New York and Hong Kong. Darianna speaks English, Italian, French and Spanish fluently and delights in helping Bonapart Consulting bring people one step closer to owning a Parisian apartment. She has also invested in her very own pied-à-terre in the heart of Paris, thus fulfilling a life long dream!

Joanna Bronowicka

Originally from Poland, Joanna Bronowicka is a recent graduate of Harvard University in Cambridge, USA. It was during her first visit to Paris in the summer of 2004, when she worked on a photography project called “The Walls of Montmartre,” that she begun to explore the irresistible charm of Parisian streets.  She returned to Paris for a year exchange at Sciences-Po and is currently working on a master’s thesis in philosophy at the Sorbonne.
